Long time no see!


Greetings long lost travellers! Ruin(a) is here with a few bits of news for you:

1. New name, same great taste! - changing Devae. to RUIN., easier to recognize, since it's my name ;) Still in the same place, but if you'd like an LM, here you go!

2. If you like SL groups, I have one for the new name. I plan to have group benefits eventually, but right now it's just a group. You are welcome to join, and it is free at the moment! Here's a link!

3. I don't have any products out at the moment, but I DO have a gift out for you - mesh, prim, and petite eye bases that are set up for BoM (bakes on mesh)! It also includes the Luminous Eye Effects that I get a lot of requests for. Drop by sometime and pick it up :)

4. I will be doing products a bit differently this time around:

-- Everything that can be, will be BoM (bakes on mesh) by default
-- Each product will come in one full pack.
-- Single colors will be available only by request.
-- Appliers will only be available by special request.
-- Price lists for these requests will be readily available.

Useful Disasters

Well. I have lost a huge amount of computer files for the second time. Included in this recent loss were all of my ad and product templates, as well as a lot of collected resources (both free and purchased). So, you know, that sucks. I am nothing if not fairly resilient, however. So, I'm going to use this opportunity to clean house, organize, and start from scratch. Which means a lot of behind the scenes work that will likely take a lot of time in which you will see nothing from me. But I am not giving up. So have no fear - I may be quiet, but I am not gone. Winds of Change!

I'm really excited to announce two pieces of news for .{Rue}.! Drumroll please .... #1: I have a partner! My friend Themis Enzo has done me the honor of joining the brand .{Rue}. <3 She will be creating under the brand, and may even be bringing in some of her favorite Favole items! She'll be helping out a lot with the advertising too, so expect her name to be attached to blogposts, notecards, messages and the like. We also have some plans stewing of collaborations, which is pretty exciting. While she'll be managing a lot of the public face of .{Rue}., I do recommend for product questions and issues to contact the person who made the item (in other words, check the items' properties for the creator). It's not a big deal if you get the wrong person, as we'll pass the messages on to each other, but it will probably be faster for *you* if you contact the particular creator directly. Finally, something new and ... horny. ahem.

This is kind of a huge update, so bear with me! :) So, after reviewing my old House of Ruin horn textures, I decided they were unsatisfactory and set out to make better ones. It's taken me a while and a few failures, but AT LAST I have created a set of textures that I find lovely and satisfies my inner critic! Here are the standard color packs that every horn style will come in (click through on the pic to see them huge, up close and personal). Each has 10 different textures, and will be L$150 each, with the fatpack of 5 for L$375: In addition, I have 2 extra special packs .. 1.) One, especially for 7 Seas custom catches - 2.) and one especially for Moody Mondays (with an extra color :D) -   Ok, so, new textures, so what? Right? Well, of course I wouldn't let you in on the new textures if I didn't actually have something to put them ON.
