I'm on a roll this week!

I've been wanting to make horns for ages, but have always been a bit daunted by the task. Because I'm kind of a perfectionist about some things, and antlers that don't look like real antlers bother me. Anyway, I finally sat myself down and made some! And I'm so pleased with how they turned out! Introducing Banneret ....

Available in all my standard colors at the mainshop, the Seraph pack at the Home sim, and keep an eye out this weekend for the Moody Monday pack!

Also, I know a lot of you probably already know this, but I do have a flickr group just for pics featuring my work - I LOVE seeing what people do with the things I make! So please do feel free to add your images, it would be great to see some new faces among the many talented veterans in the group. I'm thinking of planning some special flickr group thing too, maybe a contest or something. Anyway, I just wanted to get that on your radar :)

Useful Disasters

Well. I have lost a huge amount of computer files for the second time. Included in this recent loss were all of my ad and product templates, as well as a lot of collected resources (both free and purchased). So, you know, that sucks. I am nothing if not fairly resilient, however. So, I'm going to use this opportunity to clean house, organize, and start from scratch. Which means a lot of behind the scenes work that will likely take a lot of time in which you will see nothing from me. But I am not giving up. So have no fear - I may be quiet, but I am not gone. It will also mean a few changes to my stuff, some of which probably doesn't matter that much to you, but I'm gonna tell you anyway because I'm weird and honest like that. So! The stuff that doesn't matter: New ads. And since I'm making a new template, I'm gonna redo all my old ads. Because I like visual consistency. New logo, probably. I'm probably going to stick with the same basic idea,...

Winds of Change!

I'm really excited to announce two pieces of news for .{Rue}.! Drumroll please .... #1: I have a partner! My friend Themis Enzo has done me the honor of joining the brand .{Rue}. <3 She will be creating under the brand, and may even be bringing in some of her favorite Favole items! She'll be helping out a lot with the advertising too, so expect her name to be attached to blogposts, notecards, messages and the like. We also have some plans stewing of collaborations, which is pretty exciting. While she'll be managing a lot of the public face of .{Rue}., I do recommend for product questions and issues to contact the person who made the item (in other words, check the items' properties for the creator). It's not a big deal if you get the wrong person, as we'll pass the messages on to each other, but it will probably be faster for *you* if you contact the particular creator directly. Finally, something new and ... horny. ahem.

This is kind of a huge update, so bear with me! :) So, after reviewing my old House of Ruin horn textures, I decided they were unsatisfactory and set out to make better ones. It's taken me a while and a few failures, but AT LAST I have created a set of textures that I find lovely and satisfies my inner critic! Here are the standard color packs that every horn style will come in (click through on the pic to see them huge, up close and personal). Each has 10 different textures, and will be L$150 each, with the fatpack of 5 for L$375: In addition, I have 2 extra special packs .. 1.) One, especially for 7 Seas custom catches - 2.) and one especially for Moody Mondays (with an extra color :D) - Ok, so, new textures, so what? Right? Well, of course I wouldn't let you in on the new textures if I didn't actually have something to put them ON. I've released 6 horn styles: a couple oldies, a could newies, one reworkedish, and one for FREE: Re-released House of Ruin styles ...
